Our University's Faculty of Applied Sciences, which has been working to demonstrate its difference with the projects and activities it has carried out since the day it was founded, organized the program called "Let's Smile Together" in cooperation with the Federation of Disabled Associations, with a wide participation, in order to increase the interaction between external stakeholders and our University.
Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof., attended the event held at the Faculty Conference Hall. Dr. Mehmet Çakmak, Head of Management Information Systems Department Prof. Dr. Nursal Arıcı, Deputy Head of Department Lecturer. See. Dr. Başak Gök, Assoc. Dr. Yashar A. Kalandaragh, MD. Lecturer Member Sami Acar, Federation of Disabled Associations and Disabled Culture Health Sports Foundation President Abdurrahman Kurtaslan, guests and students attended.
The opening speech of the program, which started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, was made by the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çakmak did it. Saying that people are born equal, Dean Çakmak stated that this is not always the case in real life.
Emphasizing that disabled citizens are also a part of this society, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çakmak concluded his words by thanking everyone who contributed to the organization of the event.
Speaking at the opening after Dean Çakmak, Abdurrahman Kurtaslan, President of the Federation of Disabled Associations and the Disabled Culture Health Sports Foundation, started his speech by saying, "Today, I am very happy to be back at the university where I was a student in the past."
In his speech, Kurtaslan talked about the work of the Federation of Disabled Associations and the Disabled Culture Health Sports Foundation and thanked the Dean of the Faculty, Prof., for their invitation. Dr. He ended his speech by thanking everyone who contributed to the organization of the program, especially Mehmet Çakmak.
Following the speeches, the program continued with the music and dance show of Azerbaijan Disabled Volunteers and ended after a group photo.
