"Gazi Technopark Promotion Trip" was organized by our Faculty Management Information Systems Student Community (Gazi YBS) for our Management Information Systems students on December 21, 2023.  The trip was moderated by Management Information Systems Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Hakan Tekedere, and it was held with the participation of the Vice Dean of our faculty and academic advisor of the Gazi YBS student community, Dr. Başak Gök and our students. In this event, Gazi Technopark Management and company representatives met with our students.

The event is the promotional video of Gazi Teknopark, one of the consultants of Gazi Teknopark, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirtaş's presentation was made with the presentation of i-Frame and ONO Software from Teknopark companies and interactive question and answers. In the first part of the event, both Gazi Teknopark energy consultant and Gazi University Technology Faculty Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirtaş talked about the opportunities Gazi Technopark provides to students and employees. The presentation, which included tax exemption, technical support, and opportunities provided to companies, continued with questions from the students. Questions about internship and work opportunities were answered by Mehmet Demirtaş and our students were informed. During the tea break, our students shared the topics they were curious about with our teacher.

In the second part of the event, information was given about the projects carried out by representatives of Gazi Teknopark companies i-Frame and ONO Yazılım. Speaking on behalf of I-Frame, Mr. Ferhat Bulut, one of the founding partners of the company, talked about the general aims and future goals of the project they developed. He introduced the i-Frame product, which provides a platform for users to develop products.

ONO Software, which provides dynamic and result-oriented services for large and medium-sized businesses with customer relationship management, business tracking, service software specific to organizations, talked about their carbon footprint and blockchain-based projects.

In this interactive and productive event, our students wanted to learn how they can apply to Gazi Technopark. The first step in the application is to pre-apply via the Gazi Teknopark website. The applied project idea is evaluated by 3 referees. Accepted project owners are invited to a preliminary interview and taken to the incubation centers within Teknopark. Entrepreneurs can benefit from the incubation center for approximately 3 years to develop their projects. Additionally, in order to continue working at Gazi Technopark, an ongoing project is required.

After the presentations, the MIA Technology Site was visited and a promotion was made by the company employees.
